Social
Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) Doctoral Fellowships

Award: 6 to 48 months
Value:
$17,700
For:
Canadian citizens or permanent residents living in Canada at the time of
application.
Deadline:
Internal Departmental deadlines are set each year - generally in late September.
If not registered at a University when applying then Nov. 15 for following
year. Watch for departmental and institutional workshops to aid in
making applications.

Ontario
Graduate Student Scholarships
Number: Varies
Term of Award:
Value: about $4000/term for
two or three consecutive terms.
For: Canadian citizens and permanent
residents, with preference given to Ontario residents; however, a total
of 60 Scholarships are allocated each year to visa students studying in
Ontario.

full-time students considered on the basis of the applicant's ability to
assist in research and field development activities.
