Introduction and Discussion with the CuratorThese films, which were created between 1970 and 2001, illustrate a wide range of filmic strategies of perception, while covering topics that range from psycho-analysis to surveillance. The program was curated by film expert Stefanie Schulte-Strathaus, who comes to us from one of Germany's oldest and most respected cinemas of independent film, the Arsenal Kino. This public screening also celebrates the opening of the Centre for Media and Culture Education's conference entitled: Terms of Address: A Symposium on the Pedagogy and Politics of Film and Video Programming and Curating.
