Mission Statement

Modern societies face difficult new challenges as they seek to cope with major social and economic change, the need to educate for new competencies in the population, the maintenance of the social fabric for nurturing, socializing, and educating the next generation, and the provision of opportunities for health and well-being of all citizens. To inform our understanding of these challenges, the Human Development program focuses on:
