Doug McDougall's Home Page

Welcome to my home page on the Internet. I am an associate professor at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto (OISE/UT). I have taught at the elementary, secondary, and university level in Mathematics, Technology and Computer Science. I was a mathematics consultant with a large school district in Ontario. I am interested in teacher change in computer-based instructional environments. I have been working with various organizations and educational groups on the implemenatation of technology, and the design and implementation of distance education programs.

One of my educational goals is to understand the relationship between emerging technology and learning with a particular focus on the learning needs of teachers. I am also interested in Middle School Mathematics Education Curriculum Implementation and how it affects teachers and school systems.
