Bibliography

ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHY FOR PLARAs of February, 1999, this project has made available an international, annotated bibliography for PLAR and we have laid the foundations for a "managing" committee, devoted to maintaining the "currency" of the collection. The present collection is organized by categories that we believe will be helpful and functional. It is not as searchable as we would like, but that development remains for the future.
PLAR "VALUES" STATEMENTSThis project was created in order to identify the values each agency brings to the implementation of PLAR, and to examine them on a public basis so that each participant will have a clearer appreciation of the expectations involved, and so that the development of PLAR in Canada will be accompanied by greater coherence and understanding, to the eventual benefit of individual users.
CURRENT STATUS OF PLAR IN CANADA AND ABROADBecause of the rapid growth of PLAR, the intent of this project has been, and remains, the development of a single national source for information about PLAR policies and best practices across the country, and related locations overseas. |
