I came to OISE in July of 1999. Between receiving my Ph.D. in quantitative psychology from the L.L. Thurstone Psychometric Laboratory at the University of North Carolina in 1992 and joining OISE, I worked in applied research, first for the U.S. Office of Personnel Management and then for the American Institutes for Research.
My research focuses on understanding and modeling students’ response processes and the effects of teachers’ and others’ beliefs on test administration, scoring, and use.
